You Have 2 Hours To Build A Chapel And Marry 24 Same-Sex Couples. Who You Gonna Call?
When New York legalized same-sex marriage in 2011, a small army of volunteers and city employees got together to plan, prepare, and even pay for 24 weddings in Central Park — in a single day. Watch the whole thing unfold in this video, from building “chapels” from the ground up to many, many happy couples finally saying “I do!” I was one of those volunteers, and I still get happy chills when I remember it. I hope you enjoy this as much as I loved being part of it!
