Why Jess Glynne Is One Of 2016’s Most Exciting Artists…
Since rising to prominence with amazing vocals on tracks by Clean Bandit and Route 94, Jess Glynne spent 2015 firmly solidifying herself as one of the UK’s most striking solo artists.
With her debut solo album, I Cry When I Laugh, reaching the number one spot in the UK charts, it’s pretty clear this North London girl’s made her mark and her next track, the upbeat Ain’t Got Far To Go, is likely to make her sixth time lucky in the singles chart.
Despite all her achievements, Jess spent some of last year recovering from vocal surgery that led her to cancel much anticipated sets, including one at the massive Glastonbury Festival. After a well-deserved rest, she made an impressive comeback with her charity single for Children In Need, Take Me Home.
Always pushing the boundaries of her dance-soul-pop genre, Jess’s next accolade is looking likely to be the Best British Breakthrough at this year’s BRITs. If you want Jess to win, make sure to vote for her via #BRITBREAKJESSGLYNNE on Twitter:
