This Looping 90-Foot Water Slide Might Be The Craziest Ride Ever Built (Video)

I’m not exactly a theme-park kind of person.

I don’t really get the appeal of walking around in the hot sun all day, eating junk food and waiting in line for hours for a two-minute ride on a roller-coaster.

But, the new SkyCaliber water slide might be able to change my tune.

First and foremost, the ride holds a world record as the only water slide to have a loop-de-loop.

It also is 90 feet tall, has a 45-foot freefall and the loop is 30 feet around.

The slide can propel users up to a stomach-churning 50 mph.

It goes so fast, the slide’s users are required to be strapped into a protective raft while riding.

The slide is slated to be open to the public in Missouri in 2015, so be on the lookout for that.

In the meantime, you can check out some videos of the super slide.
