Kanye West, Calvin Harris And More Are Competing At This Year’s VMAs

, , ,

Guys, next week is officially August.Isn’t that crazy?

These last few months have flown by, and it’s almost the end of summer.

But don’t get too sad yet, there arestill a lot of awesome things happening in the upcoming weeks… like the Video Music Awards.

Yup, it’s time to get pumped for MTV’s biggest, hottest awards show. It’s about to be the biggest shit show in history, especially after all the drama that happened with Taylor Swift and Kanye West.

Ugh, takes me right back to 2009. Remember when Kanye interrupted Taylor Swift to let everyone know Beyonchad the best video of all time?

YEAH, that happened at the VMAs. Memories!

I’d like to argue this year’s Video Music Awardswill be the most dramatic yet, especially if you take a look atthe nominees.

For starters, Beyonc leads the nominations with a total of 11for her Lemonade visual album, followed by Adele with eight nominations for her record-breaking video for “Hello.”

In addition to these leading ladies, Justin Bieber, Drake, Calvin Harris and Kanye West are up for some big awards.

And want to know something else?

Kanye West’s song “Famous” is up for Video ofthe Year. YEAH, things are about to get really, really interesting.

The MTV Video Music Awards will air live from New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday, August 28 at9:00 pm EST,so be sure to mark that date in your calendar.

Oh, and starting today, fans can also vote for their favorite nominees by checking outvma.mtv.com.
