Looking to put the finishing touches on this year’s Christmas list?

We’ve got just the thing! Behold, French Toast Crunch — the cinnamon, syrup flavored cereal from your childhood you thought you’d never see again.

According to Grub Street, General Mills is bringing French Toast Crunch back after halting production after 2006.

The cereal had a pretty decent run between 1995 and 2006. After that, General Mills took a healthier approach to cereal and began offering whole grain products, causing GM to do away with some of our favorites.

Previously, you could only find retired childhood cereals by scouring eBay and paying upward of $20 for a single box.

That won’t be the case for French Toast Crunch as General Mills will have boxes back on shelves in a supermarket near you by the end of January 2015!

Check out the video below, as well as a few tweets highlighting fans’ reactions!

French Toast Crunch was awesome.

I say “was” because after its stint from 1995 to 2006, we never saw it again.

General Mills took it off the shelves in favor of a healthier, whole-grain route. In order to get your hands on a box, you had to jump through hoops.

After years and years of people feeling lost without French Toast Crunch…

General Mills decided to bring it back.

That’s right, you can now buy one of your favorite childhood cereals again! You’ll just have to wait until the end of January 2015.

That’s a small price to pay since we’ve all been waiting eight years for French Toast Crunch!

You can thank the “cereal gods” from above and a little thing called “consumer demand” for the resurrection of your favorite childhood cereal!

Breakfast will never be the same.

Neither will a midnight snack!

There’s no way you can’t care!
