Delicious Chocolate Pencils Can Be Sharpened To Create Amazing Dessert Art (Photos)

Let’s face it, after you finish elementary school, you rarely find yourself using a pencil.

As a matter of fact, pencil usage declines so significantly after elementary school, there should be a way to take all existing pencils and transform them into something far more useful… like chocolate!

Unfortunately, the scientists of the world haven’t developed a machine to transform¬†them, but one Tokyo-based pastry chef named Tsujiguchi Hirnobu decided to give us all a better idea of what they’d look like.

After teaming up with Nendo, a Japanese design studio,¬†Hirnobu created a series of chocolate pencils. That’s right, pencils made entirely out of different types of chocolate.

Of course, you won’t be able to use these pencils to actually write things, but that’s not what they’re for. Besides, the last thing you’d want to do with anything made out of chocolate is not eat it!

The pencils are made to be sharpened over pastries, ice cream and other sweet treats, serving as edible garnish and decor.

As of right now, they’re not available for purchase but they certainly should be.

Check out the photos below for a closer look.
