Still using the ol’ side-of-the-box trick to find out how many calories are in your food? That’s adorable.
Like most things nowadays, there’s a tech equivalent. Israel-based tech startup Consumer Physics, Inc., is working on a gadget called SCiO that analyzes the chemical makeup of food — meaning you can scan your sandwich and get an (apparently) accurate breakdown of its nutritional values, from calories to trans fat to taste.
